It's been a crazy time the last few weeks. I sold three paintings, then another at the Amador County Fair where I placed with two firsts, two thirds and an honorable mention. This put me on the mountain top, but we all know what goes up must come down...…and it did. I lost my sister to COVID last Thursday, and if that wasn't low enough the next afternoon my daughter in law and my four youngest granddaughters were in a major car accident three medi-flighted out and two by ambulance. Thankfully they were all released from the hospital with lots of bumps and bruises but okay! Praise God! We are still going through the grieving process and walking with my nephew as he takes care of his mothers things before we have a celebration of life with family this weekend.
What's next.... Well, I hope to finish redoing a sign for Renegade Winery and continue working on the piece above that's on my easel, of my granddaughter Emma, from a photo shoot at Preston Castle, a few years ago.
